Skin compatibility is the absence of skin irritation under normal conditions of use and reasonably foreseeable misuse taking into account objective reactions as well as subjective responses such as stinging, itching, etc.
Skin compatibility or Cutaneous tolerance evaluation of a cosmetic product is performed by a Dermatologist.

This assessment is based on the comparison between the data of the initial examination and the one from the final examination, completed by the collection of the adverse events (A.E.) which occurred during the period of application. The aim of the test is checking the good skin compatibility of the tested product(s) before putting it on the market by performing a study under dermatological control.

At baseline and final consultation, the dermatologist collects
• The functional signs present at that moment: tightening, tingling, burning, itching, others e.g. string etc.
• The clinical signs present at that moment: erythema, edema, dryness, scaling, comedones, others (for evaluation on the face/body/scalp) erythema, swelling, dryness, scaling, molting, cheilitis, hyper pigmented, comedones, others (for evaluation on the lips area only)
• All the characteristics of each adverse events

Measurement:  face / body / scalp / lips
Kinetics: T0 and T+X weeks (2 or 4 weeks)
• Dermatologically tested (ผ่านการทดสอบโดยแพทย์ผู้เชี่ยวชาญทางผิวหนัง)
• Clinically tested (ผ่านการทดสอบทางคลินิก)
• Non-irritating (ไม่ทำให้เกิดการระคายเคือง)
• Well tolerated (ผิวทนได้ดีต่อผลิตภัณฑ์)
• Good skin compatibility (เข้ากันได้ดีกับผิวหนัง)
